1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons tahini

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 lemon, juiced

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

2-3 tablespoons cold water (adjust for desired consistency)

Paprika (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt.

    Pulse the Mixture: Blend on high until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, blending until you reach your desired consistency.

      Taste and Adjust: Taste the hummus and adjust the salt or lemon juice as needed.

        Serve: Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little olive oil, and sprinkle paprika and chopped parsley on top for garnish.
