1 cup rolled oats

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust based on your sweetness preference)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Extra apple slices for topping

A dollop of yogurt (dairy or non-dairy, optional)

Instructions
 

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well to ensure that all ingredients are evenly distributed.
