Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

1 lb ground beef

1 cup cooked bacon, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 (32 oz) bag of frozen tater tots

Optional toppings: pickles, diced tomatoes, lettuce, or additional cheese

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

      Sauté Vegetables: Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes or until the onion is translucent.

        Mix in Bacon: Stir in the chopped bacon, cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Remove from heat.

          Layer the Casserole: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly across the bottom. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef.

            Add Tater Tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese layer.

              Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the tater tots.

                Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
