Ingredients

1 round of Brie cheese (7-8 ounces)

¼ cup pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 handful of pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)

Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Assorted crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Brie: Place the Brie cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet or a small oven-safe skillet. If you prefer a gooey interior, you can score the top of the Brie in a crisscross pattern.

Make the Maple Rosemary Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the maple syrup, finely chopped rosemary, vanilla extract, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Bake the Brie: Pour the maple rosemary glaze evenly over the Brie. If using nuts, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top for added crunch.

Oven Time: Bake the Brie in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until it is soft and oozy but not completely melted through.

Garnish and Serve: Carefully remove the Brie from the oven. Let it cool for a minute, then garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs. Serve warm with an assortment of crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh apple slices.
