2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced red onion

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, BBQ sauce, diced red onion, olive oil, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated in the sauce.

      Unroll the Crescent Dough: On a large, ungreased baking sheet, carefully unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate it into triangles as indicated on the package.

        Fill the Dough: Place about 2 tablespoons of the BBQ chicken mixture at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.

          Roll the Dough: Starting from the wider end, roll each crescent triangle towards the point to form a roll. Make sure to tuck in the edges to prevent the filling from leaking out.

            Bake: Arrange the rolled crescents on the baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

              Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping!
