Ingredients

8 oz ramen noodles

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)

2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Noodles: Cook ramen noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside. Toss with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Once hot, add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add broccoli florets and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender yet crisp.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked beef to the pan. Add the cooked ramen noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Toss everything together to combine well, ensuring that the noodles and vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce.

Thicken the Sauce: Pour the cornstarch slurry into the pan. Stir continuously for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and adheres to the ingredients.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.
