2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1/4 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 head of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce, separated into leaves

1/2 cup diced celery

1/2 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or feta cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chickpea Mixture: In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the drained chickpeas, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chickpeas are slightly crispy and heated through.

    Add the Buffalo Sauce: Toss the cooked chickpeas with the buffalo sauce until they are well coated. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
