Ingredients

1 package (1 sheet) of puff pastry, thawed

6 slices of bacon, chopped

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

6 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray or butter to prevent sticking.

Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

Prepare the Puff Pastry: Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into 12 squares (each about 3 inches) and gently press each square into the bottom and sides of the muffin tin cups to form a pastry shell.

Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

Assemble the Cups: Sprinkle the cooked bacon evenly across the pastry-lined muffin cups, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese until each cup is filled about 3/4 full (you may have some filling left over depending on the size of your cups).

Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the egg is set and the pastry is golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let the puff cups cool for a few minutes. Use a butter knife to gently loosen the edges and remove them from the muffin tin. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley.

Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Cheddar Bacon Egg Puff Cups!
