Ingredients

3 cups fresh broccoli florets (blanched and chopped)

6 large eggs

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk (whole or low-fat)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or use a non-stick spray to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Broccoli: In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Drain and immediately plunge them into an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, chop the florets into smaller pieces.

Whisk the Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Combine Ingredients: Gently fold the chopped broccoli and cheddar cheese into the egg mixture until evenly distributed.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top for an extra cheesy finish.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden, and the center is set.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with paprika and fresh parsley before cutting into squares and serving.
