Ingredients

2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

4 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each roll into quarters and place them in the prepared baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

Make the Custard Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Add Nuts and Raisins: If using, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts and raisins or chocolate chips evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the pan.

Pour the Custard: Carefully pour the egg and milk mixture over the chopped cinnamon rolls, ensuring all pieces are soaked. Gently press down with your hands to help them absorb the liquid.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.

Icing Time: Once out of the oven, drizzle the provided icing from the cinnamon roll cans over the hot casserole. Feel free to add extra powdered sugar on top for a sweet finish.

Serve and Enjoy: Allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice into squares and serve warm. Enjoy this delicious treat with your favorite cup of coffee or as a decadent brunch item!
