Classic Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

8 oz rotini or penne pasta

2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped

1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup croutons

½ cup Caesar dressing

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

    Prepare the Chicken: If you’re using leftover or rotisserie chicken, ensure it's chopped into bite-sized pieces. Keep it aside.

      Mix the Salad Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped chicken, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss the ingredients gently to ensure even distribution.

        Dress the Salad: Pour the Caesar dressing over the pasta salad mixture. Gently toss until all ingredients are well-coated. Add salt to taste as required.

          Add Finishing Touches: Stir in the croutons and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top. For added flavor, you can mix in freshly chopped parsley if desired.
