Ingredients

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

1 cup fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

12 bamboo or metal skewers

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Rinse the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Skewering: Take one skewer and thread a tomato half onto it, cut side up. Next, add a basil leaf, followed by a mozzarella ball. Repeat this process until your skewer is filled, leaving a little room at each end for handling. Aim for 2-3 sets of tomato-basil-mozzarella per skewer.

Season: After threading all ingredients onto the skewers, place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the skewers.

Flavor Boost: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers, showcasing a beautiful contrast of flavors and colors. Sprinkle a pinch of salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and Italian seasoning or dried oregano (if using) over the top for added flavor.

Chill: Let your skewers chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve: Arrange the chilled skewers on a decorative platter for your guests and enjoy the fresh, vibrant flavors of this Cold Caprese Salad Skewers!
