2 cups uncooked penne pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

      Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        Sauté Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets. If using fresh, add a splash of water to help steam. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

          Make the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chicken broth, and milk. Stir until smooth. Add in the cooked chicken and sautéed broccoli, mixing well. Fold in the cooked pasta and 1/2 of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

            Combine and Transfer: Pour the creamy mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.

              Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
