Ingredients

2 lbs chicken drumsticks

1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice, sweet or smoky)

1/2 cup honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with paper towels. This will help the seasoning stick and the skin to crisp up if desired.

Make the BBQ Sauce Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

Add to Crock Pot: Place the chicken drumsticks into the crock pot in an even layer. Pour the homemade BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring they are well coated.

Cook: Cover the crock pot with its lid and set it on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach at least 165°F (74°C).

Optional Glaze: If you prefer a caramelized finish, after cooking, preheat your oven broiler. Carefully transfer the cooked chicken onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush more BBQ sauce over the top and broil for 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Serve: Once fully cooked and glazed, serve the drumsticks hot, drizzled with extra BBQ sauce if desired, and garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Enjoy: Pair with coleslaw, baked beans, or corn on the cob for a perfect BBQ meal!
