Ingredients

2 large dill pickles

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1 large egg

¼ cup buttermilk (or milk of choice)

1 cup panko bread crumbs

Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes while you prepare the ingredients.

Prep the Dill Pickles: Slice the dill pickles into thin chips, about ¼-inch thick. Pat them dry with paper towels to absorb excess moisture, ensuring they become crispy when cooked.

      Prepare the Breading Station:

        - In one bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and dill weed.

          - In another bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk until combined.

            - In a third bowl, place the panko bread crumbs.

              Bread the Pickles:

                - Dip each pickle slice first into the flour mixture, making sure it's coated well. Shake off the excess flour.

                  - Next, dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.

                    - Finally, coat with the panko bread crumbs, pressing lightly to ensure the crumbs adhere well.

                      Air Fry the Chips:

                        - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

                          - Place the breaded pickle chips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them, as this will affect their crispiness.

                            - Spray the tops lightly with olive oil spray to encourage browning.

                              Cooking:

                                - Air fry the pickle chips for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crunchy.

                                  - After cooking, sprinkle sea salt to taste immediately while they are hot.

Serve: Remove the crispy dill pickle air chips from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce!
