4 everything bagels (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Slice the Bagels: Using a sharp knife, slice each bagel into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. Aim for even slices for consistent cooking.

      Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and freshly cracked black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

        Coat the Bagel Slices: Place the bagel slices in a large bowl. Drizzle the seasoning mixture over the bagel slices, and toss gently until all slices are evenly coated.

          Arrange on Baking Sheet: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Arrange the seasoned bagel slices in a single layer on the sheets, making sure they don’t overlap.

            Bake: Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping the bagel chips halfway through, until they are golden brown and crunchy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning!

              Cool and Store: Remove from the oven and allow the chips to cool completely on the baking sheets. Once cooled, store them in an airtight container for up to a week (if they last that long!).
