8 ounces soft goat cheese or cream cheese

2 tablespoons honey

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Olive oil, for drizzling

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Balsamic reduction (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Toast the Baguette: Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

Prepare the Crostini: Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Spread a generous layer of goat cheese or cream cheese on each slice.

Assemble the Toppings: Lay a slice of prosciutto on top of the cheese, followed by a couple of peach slices.

Drizzle with Honey: Lightly drizzle honey over each crostini for added sweetness.

Add Final Touches: Garnish with fresh basil leaves, a sprinkle of cracked black pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction if desired.

Serve: Arrange the crostini on a platter and serve immediately as a delightful appetizer!
