3 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Prep the Zucchini: Wash the zucchinis and slice them into half-moons about 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.

    Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

      Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!

        Cook Zucchini: Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the zucchini in the garlic-infused oil.

          Sauté Until Tender: Cook the zucchini for approximately 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly golden. You want them to retain some crunch.

            Add Lemon Juice: Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice for a burst of flavor and toss to combine.
