Ingredients

4 cups fresh baby spinach

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted

1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette (store-bought or homemade)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Spinach: Rinse the baby spinach under cold water and dry using a salad spinner or pat it with a clean kitchen towel. Place the spinach in a large salad bowl.

Slice the Strawberries: Hull and slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Layer them over the baby spinach in the bowl.

Add the Feta and Onions: Crumble the feta cheese over the salad and sprinkle the thinly sliced red onion evenly across.

Toast the Walnuts: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the chopped walnuts for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until they are golden and fragrant. Allow them to cool slightly before adding to the salad.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients. Make sure the spinach and strawberries are well coated.

Season: Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.

Serve: Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish or a light main course option.
