Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup Nutella (or any hazelnut spread)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts or walnuts)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

A pinch of salt

Mini cupcake liners (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thick rounds (about 1-inch thick). Lay them flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Bombs: Take a banana slice, add about 1 teaspoon of Nutella on top, and then place another banana slice on top of the Nutella to create a mini banana sandwich.

Coat with Yogurt: Dip the banana Nutella sandwiches into the yogurt mixture, making sure they are well-coated.

Add Nuts: Sprinkle chopped nuts over the yogurt-coated sandwiches while the yogurt is still wet to ensure they stick.

Freeze: Place the coated banana sandwiches back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all are assembled, freeze for at least 3 hours or until completely solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes for easier handling. Take the banana Nutella bombs out and enjoy them right away! Optionally, you can place them in mini cupcake liners for a fun presentation.
