Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Popsicle molds or paper cups

Popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into approximately 1-inch thick rounds.

Blend the Mixture: In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced bananas, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Incorporate Extras: Stir in the chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips (if using), adding a pinch of cinnamon for an extra flavor boost.

Fill the Molds: Pour the banana-yogurt mixture into popsicle molds or paper cups, filling them about 3/4 full to allow for expansion as they freeze.

Insert Sticks: If using popsicle molds, insert the sticks according to the mold instructions. If using paper cups, place the sticks in the center of each filled cup.

Freeze: Place the molds or cups in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until completely solid.

Unmold the Pops: Once frozen, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen the pops. If using paper cups, peel them away gently.

Serve & Enjoy: Enjoy your Frozen Yogurt Banana Pecan Pops as a refreshing treat on a hot day!
