Frozen Yogurt Chocolate Chip Oat Squares

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or almonds)

Extra chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Instructions
 

Line a Baking Dish: Start by lining an 8x8 inch (or similar size) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

    Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well until all the ingredients are fully combined and form a thick, sticky mixture.

      Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the mini dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using. Ensure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

        Transfer to Dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Using a spatula, spread it evenly and press it down firmly to pack it into the dish. This will help the bars hold their shape once frozen.

          Top (Optional): If desired, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top for a delicious finishing touch!

            Freeze: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil, and place it in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours or until the mixture is completely frozen.

              Cut Into Squares: Once frozen, remove the bars from the baking dish using the parchment overhang. Place it on a cutting board and cut into squares or bars, your choice!
