Ingredients

For the Steak:

1 lb flank steak (or ribeye)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Noodles:

8 oz egg noodles (or your favorite type)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 cup mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas)

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the flank steak to the bowl, making sure it's well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator for a deeper flavor.

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sear the Steak: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or to your desired doneness). Remove steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.

Sauté the Veggies: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the mixed vegetables. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together, then add the butter, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir continuously until the butter has melted and the noodles are evenly coated.

Finish Off: Add the sliced steak back into the skillet and gently toss everything together to heat through. Taste and adjust seasoning with more soy sauce or salt as needed. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle some red pepper flakes over the top.

Serve: Serve the Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles hot, garnished with chopped parsley and green onion. Enjoy your delicious meal!
