Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup store-bought pizza dough (or homemade, if preferred)

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven: Set it to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's hot when your cheeseburger bombs are ready to bake.

Prepare the filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until evenly incorporated. Form the mixture into small, one-ounce balls (about the size of a golf ball).

Add cheese: Press a ball of ground beef slightly flat, place a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese in the center, and then wrap the beef around the cheese to form a tight ball. Repeat this for all the filling.

Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, take the pizza dough and divide it into equal pieces (about 2 inches wide). Flatten each piece slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.

Wrap the bombs: Place a beef and cheese ball onto the center of each piece of dough. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal the bombs tightly.

Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic.

Coat the bombs: Arrange the stuffed dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Garnish and serve: Once out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
