4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

    Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish, and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for deeper flavor.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the chicken marinates.

        Arrange the Chicken: Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later. Place the thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

          Bake the Chicken: Bake the chicken in the oven for about 30 minutes.
