1 cup fresh mango chunks (or frozen)

1 cup coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Additional mango slices (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mango Puree: If using fresh mango, peel and chop the mango into small pieces. Blend the mango chunks in a blender until smooth. If using frozen mango, allow it to thaw slightly before blending. Set aside.

    Mix the Matcha: In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with a tablespoon of hot water (not boiling) until it is well combined and has no lumps. You can use a bamboo whisk or a spoon for this. Set aside to cool slightly.

      Combine the Base: In a large glass or jar, mix together the coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and the prepared matcha paste. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

        Layer It Up: In a separate glass, add ice cubes and then pour the mango puree over the ice until the glass is about halfway full.

          Pour the Matcha Mixture: Slowly pour the mixed matcha and coconut milk blend over the mango puree. You can pour it carefully over the back of a spoon to create a beautiful layered effect.

            Garnish and Serve: Stir gently to combine before drinking or leave it layered for a stunning presentation. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional mango slices on top if desired.
