Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp mustard powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup diced tomatoes (optional, for garnish)

1/2 cup crispy bacon bits (optional, for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is translucent and fragrant.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and milk, mixing well until heated through. Gradually add the cheddar and Parmesan cheese while stirring constantly until melted and smooth.

Season the Sauce: Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, slowly stir in some reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine directly into the skillet with the cheese sauce and beef mixture. Toss to combine until the pasta is evenly coated.

Serve: Serve hot, garnished with diced tomatoes, crispy bacon bits, and chopped parsley for freshness.
