Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, and mustard

Instructions

Prepare the Beef Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Use a wooden spoon to break it apart as it cooks. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary and let it cool slightly.

Assemble the Tacos: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a clean surface, lay out the wonton wrappers. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cooked beef mixture in the center of each wrapper. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.

Shape the Tacos: To form the tacos, fold the wonton wrapper in half, pressing to seal. Then, take the corners opposite the fold and pinch them together to form a taco shape.

Fry the Tacos: In a large skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot (around 350°F or 175°C), carefully add a few tacos at a time, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Bake for Extra Crispiness (Optional): If desired, place the fried wonton tacos on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5-7 minutes for extra crispiness.

Serve: Arrange the Mini Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos on a platter. Allow guests to add their preferred toppings, such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Enjoy your delicious twist on classic burgers!
