Mini Chicken Parmesan Lettuce Wraps

1 pound ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 clove garlic, minced

1 large egg

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup marinara sauce

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Butter lettuce leaves or Romaine leaves (for wrapping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Mix the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

      Shape the Patties: Form small, bite-sized patties, about 1.5 inches in diameter, with the chicken mixture.

        Bake the Patties: Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

          Add Marinara and Cheese: Remove the patties from the oven and spoon a small amount of marinara sauce on top of each patty. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

            Melt the Cheese: Return the patties to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
