1/2 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons tikka masala spice blend

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon ginger paste

Salt to taste

For the Tikka Masala Sauce:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

1/2 cup coconut milk or heavy cream

1 teaspoon garam masala

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

For the Wraps:

8 small flour tortillas or naan

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced cucumber

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup raita (yogurt sauce) or plain yogurt

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken:

    - In a large bowl, combine yogurt, tikka masala spice blend, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, and salt. Mix well.

      - Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more intense flavor.

        Cook the Chicken:

          - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken (discard any excess marinade). Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

            Prepare the Tikka Masala Sauce:

              - In the same skillet, add vegetable oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

                - Stir in the crushed tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

                  - Add the cooked chicken pieces back into the skillet, pour in the coconut milk (or cream), and sprinkle in garam masala, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
