Mini Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake Bites

1 package (8 oz) of crescent roll dough

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large egg

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

For the Topping:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or line with mini muffin liners.

    Prepare the Cinnamon Roll Base:

      - Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it flat to remove seams.

        - In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if using).

          - Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the dough. Roll the dough back up tightly from the long side into a log.

            Cut the Rolls: Slice the log into 12 equally-sized pieces. Place each slice into the bottom of a mini muffin cup, pressing down slightly to flatten.
