Ingredients

12 soft dinner rolls

1 cup diced cooked ham

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon melted butter

Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.

Prepare the egg mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Slice the dinner rolls: Keeping the rolls connected, slice them horizontally through the center. Place the bottom half into the prepared baking dish.

Layer the filling: Evenly distribute the diced ham over the bottom half of the rolls, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese, making sure to cover as much as possible.

Top with the roll tops: Place the top half of the rolls over the filling, gently pressing down to ensure a good seal. Brush the tops with melted butter for a golden finish.

Bake the sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Garnish and serve: Once out of the oven, let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives before cutting them into individual sliders.

Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy these delicious and easy-to-make mini breakfast sliders!
