Ingredients

1 cup cooked ham, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup cheddar cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup cucumber, sliced into rounds

¼ cup dill pickles, cut into spears

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

12-15 wooden skewers

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by cutting the cooked ham and cheddar cheese into 1-inch cubes. Halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the cucumber into rounds, and cut the pickles into spears. Set aside.

Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be used to brush over the skewers for added flavor.

Assemble the Skewers: Take a wooden skewer and thread the ingredients onto it in the following order: a piece of ham, a piece of cheddar cheese, a cherry tomato half, a cucumber round, and a pickle spear. Alternate the ingredients for each skewer to create a colorful and tasty presentation.

Repeat: Continue assembling the remaining skewers until all the ingredients are used up.

Grill or Bake (Optional): For a warm, melty version, preheat your grill or oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush the assembled skewers with the glaze on all sides. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side or bake for around 10-12 minutes until the cheese is slightly melted and everything is heated through.

Serve: Once done, remove the skewers from the grill or oven. Serve them warm or at room temperature as a delicious appetizer or party snack. You can drizzle any remaining glaze over the skewers for added flavor.
