Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20)

8 ounces cremini mushrooms, finely chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 slider buns

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Dijon mustard and lettuce for serving

Instructions

Sauté the Mushrooms: In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the finely chopped mushrooms and allow them to sauté for 5-7 minutes until they release their moisture and start to brown. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onions become translucent. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, sautéed mushroom mixture, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing to keep the sliders tender.

Form the Sliders: Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, about the size of the slider buns. Use your thumb to make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Sliders: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the patties in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.

Assemble the Sliders: While the patties are cooking, you can toast the slider buns on another skillet or in the toaster if desired. Once the patties are cooked and cheese melted, place each patty on the bottom half of a slider bun.

Garnish and Serve: Top each slider with optional Dijon mustard, a layer of lettuce, and the top half of the bun. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
