Ingredients
  

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (or dried fruit for a healthier option)

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Optional: 1/4 cup coconut flakes or nuts for added flavor and texture

Instructions
 

Combine Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the creamy peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and sea salt. If you're using coconut flakes or nuts, add them to this mix as well.

      Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until fully combined. The mixture should hold together but be slightly sticky.

        Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips or dried fruit until evenly distributed.

          Form Energy Bites: Using your hands, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is rolled into bites. You should end up with about 12-15 energy bites.

            Chill: Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

              Store and Enjoy: Once chilled and firm, transfer the energy bites to an airtight container. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for longer-lasting snacks.
