Ingredients

24 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra for topping)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 cup sour cream

½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Make the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer. Place in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.

Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix until fully incorporated.

Whip the Cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

Fold in the Sour Cream: Add the sour cream to the cream cheese mixture and fold until everything is well blended. If using, stir in the mini chocolate chips for an extra treat.

Combine with Oreos: Gently fold in the remaining crushed Oreos, reserving a few for the topping, until they are evenly distributed throughout the filling.

Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the filling over the prepared Oreo crust in the springform pan. Spread evenly and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight for the best results.

Serve: Once chilled and set, carefully run a knife around the edges of the pan before releasing the springform. Top the cheesecake with the reserved crushed Oreos and any additional chocolate chips if desired. Slice and enjoy your delightful no-bake Oreo cheesecake!
