1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup buttermilk

1 large egg

2 tablespoons melted butter

12 small breakfast sausages (cocktail-sized)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Sausages:

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausages until browned and thoroughly cooked. Make sure they’re bite-sized; if they’re too big, you can cut them in half once cooked. Remove and set aside.

      Make the Pancake Batter:

        In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined. In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (a few lumps are okay).
