Ingredients

3 ripe peaches, sliced

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 cup fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Optional: ¼ cup toasted pine nuts for extra crunch

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the peaches and basil leaves. Slice the peaches into wedges and the fresh mozzarella into rounds, ideally similar in thickness for a balanced presentation.

Assemble the Salad: On a large serving platter or individual plates, alternate layers of peach slices and mozzarella rounds. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between each layer for an aromatic touch.

Drizzle the Dressings: Once assembled, drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the salad, followed by the balsamic glaze. If you like, scatter the toasted pine nuts across the top for added texture.

Season: Finish with a sprinkle of salt and freshly ground black pepper to enhance the flavors of the salad.

Serve: Let the salad rest for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld, then serve fresh as an appetizer or a light side dish.
