1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup pumpkin puree

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

    Make the Brownie Batter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined. Let it cool slightly, then add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.

        Prepare the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in the pumpkin puree, sugar, egg, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and uniform in texture.
