Ingredients

1 package of fresh or frozen cheese ravioli (about 9-12 oz)

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Ricotta Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, dried basil, dried oregano, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Layers: In a 9x13-inch baking dish or a similar oven-safe dish, spread a thin layer (about 1/2 cup) of marinara sauce on the bottom.

Layering Ravioli: Place half of the ravioli on top of the sauce in a single layer. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of half of the mozzarella cheese.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of marinara sauce, followed by the remaining ravioli, the rest of the ricotta mixture, another layer of marinara, and finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Add Extra Sauce: Drizzle any leftover marinara sauce over the top layer of cheese for extra flavor and moisture.

Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Cool and Serve: Once done, remove the dish from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.

Enjoy: Serve the Lazy Lasagna Ravioli with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal!
