Ingredients

2 cups pretzel sticks

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for sprinkling)

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional for added crunch)

Instructions

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Layer the Pretzels: Spread the pretzel sticks evenly over the prepared parchment-covered baking sheet. Make sure to create an even layer for the best coverage.

Drizzle with Caramel: Heat the caramel sauce in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds until it's runny and easy to drizzle. Pour the warm caramel over the pretzel layer, spreading it out gently with a spatula to cover as much of the pretzels as possible.

Pour the Chocolate: Carefully pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer, using a spatula to spread it evenly across the surface.

Add Sea Salt and Nuts: Sprinkle the top with sea salt, and if desired, add the chopped pecans or walnuts to enhance the texture and taste.

Chill to Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate and caramel are completely set.

Break into Pieces: Once set, remove from the fridge and lift the bark out of the baking sheet using the parchment overhang. Break into irregular pieces for a rustic look.

Serve and Enjoy: Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge. Bring out the salted caramel pretzel bark for special occasions or simply for a sweet treat anytime!
