Ingredients

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1 cup whole milk, warmed to 110°F

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

For the Filling:

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped

1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warmed milk. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

      - Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.

        - Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust the flour quantity slightly.

          - Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

            - Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

              Make the Filling:

                - In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and butter in a large bowl. Beat until smooth.

                  - Add brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

                    - Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.

                      Assemble the Rolls:

                        - After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 16x12 inches.

                          - Spread the strawberry cheesecake filling evenly over the dough.

                            - Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Press the seam to seal.

                              - Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

                                Bake the Rolls:

                                  - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                                    - Once the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

                                      Make the Cream Cheese Frosting:

                                        - While the rolls are baking, in a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

                                          - Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well combined. Adjust consistency with milk as needed.

                                            Frost and Serve:

                                              - Once the rolls are done, allow them to cool for about 5-10 minutes, then generously spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.

                                                - Serve warm and enjoy this delightful twist on rose-cheeked strawberry cheesecake perfection!
