Ingredients

2 large apples (preferably Granny Smith or Fuji)

1 cup granola (your choice)

1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or dark chocolate shavings

1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened, if desired)

Optional toppings: chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans), whipped cream, or a dollop of yogurt

Instructions

Prep the Apples: Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice them into thin, even rounds using a sharp knife or a mandoline for uniform thickness. Remove any seeds and core from the slices.

Create the Base: Arrange a layer of apple slices on a large serving platter. Overlap them slightly to create a beautiful base for your nachos.

Add Nut Butter: In a small bowl, mix the peanut or almond butter with the honey or maple syrup. If it's too thick, microwave it for about 10-15 seconds until it's easy to drizzle. Drizzle about half of this mixture over the apple slices.

Top with Granola: Sprinkle the granola evenly over the apple slices, ensuring all areas are covered for that crunch factor.

Flavor It Up: In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon with the remaining nut butter mixture. Drizzle this mix over the apple slices and granola for an extra flavor burst.

Add Sweet Treats: For the final touches, sprinkle mini chocolate chips, and shredded coconut on top of the nacho assembly. Feel free to add chopped nuts for additional crunch and flavor.

Serve Immediately: Enjoy the creation right away for the best taste experience! If desired, serve with optional toppings like whipped cream or yogurt on the side for dipping.
