For the Donuts:

1 cup almond flour

1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

1/4 cup coconut flour

1/4 cup coconut sugar (or sweetener of choice)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

2 large eggs

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

1/4 cup coconut sugar (or sweetener of choice)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp melted coconut oil (for brushing)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, vanilla protein powder, coconut flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

      Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

        Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until everything is fully combined and there are no lumps.

          Fill the Donut Pan: Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full. You can also use a piping bag for a cleaner fill.

            Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the donuts spring back when lightly tapped and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
