Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tsp taco seasoning

4 small flour tortillas

1 cup refried beans

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Olive oil for frying

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Beef: In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning. Stir in a splash of water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Set aside.

Prepare the Tortillas: Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry each flour tortilla until golden and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

Assemble the Pizza: On a baking sheet, place one crispy tortilla as the base. Spread a layer of refried beans evenly on top. Then, layer half of the seasoned ground beef on top of the beans.

Add the Cheese: Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the beef layer. Next, place another crispy tortilla on top. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients: refried beans, ground beef, mozzarella, cheddar, and finish with the last tortilla.

Final Layering: Top the last tortilla with the remainder of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Spread the diced tomatoes with green chilies over the cheese and sprinkle with black olives and diced red onion.

Bake the Pizza: Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes. Top with sour cream, chopped green onions, and fresh cilantro before slicing into wedges.

Enjoy: Serve hot and savor this homemade Taco Bell Mexican Pizza!
