Ingredients

16 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

Olive oil spray

Instructions

Prep the Mushrooms: Begin by gently clean the portobello mushrooms using a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Carefully remove the stems and make sure to hollow out the insides slightly for extra stuffing.

Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and creamy.

Stuff the Mushrooms: Generously fill each portobello mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, ensuring that each one is well-packed and the filling is heaping above the top.

Prepare for Air Frying: Place the stuffed mushrooms on a large plate. Sprinkle the Italian-style breadcrumbs evenly over the tops of each stuffed mushroom for a crispy texture. Use an olive oil spray to lightly coat the breadcrumbs for extra crunch.

Air Fry the Mushrooms: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is space between them for even cooking. You may need to work in batches.

Cook: Air fry the mushrooms for 10-12 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender. If desired, you can flip them halfway through for even browning.

Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the stuffed mushroom bombs from the air fryer. Allow them to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
