Ingredients
  

2 heads of garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Garlic: Slice the tops off the heads of garlic to expose the cloves. Place the garlic heads on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap the foil tightly around the garlic.

      Roast the Garlic: Place the wrapped garlic in the preheated oven and roast for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves are soft and lightly browned. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

        Extract the Garlic: Once cool enough to handle, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins into a mixing bowl. Discard the skins.

          Combine Ingredients: Using a fork or a hand mixer, mash the roasted garlic into a smooth paste. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, black pepper, and sea salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.

            Taste and Adjust: Taste your spread and adjust seasoning as desired, adding more salt or lemon juice if needed.

              Garnish (Optional): If desired, fold in the chopped parsley and chives for a fresh touch, or reserve them for topping the spread.
